Each stage is designed to assess different aspects of your driving knowledge, skill level, and teaching ability. Here’s a detailed breakdown of what you can expect at each step on your journey to becoming a professional driving instructor.

3.) Driving theory and hazard perception: A multiple-choice test and interactive video clips to assess your ability to spot and respond to developing hazard
At One Stop Driving Academy , we provide all the essential study materials, including books, apps, and practice questions, as well as mock exams to help you prepare confidently. You’ll have full support from our instructor trainers to ensure you're ready to pass this important first step.

A practical driving test similar to the learner driving test but held to a much higher standard. You’ll need to show:
    1.) Excellent vehicle control
    2.) Advanced driving skills
    3.) Good awareness and anticipation
Our expert trainers will work with you to refine your driving to ADI standards.

  • Part 3 – Instructional Ability Test

This test assesses your ability to teach. You’ll be observed conducting a real lesson with a learner driver, demonstrating your:
1.) Communication and coaching skills: Explaining clearly, adapting your style to suit the learner, and creating a supportive learning environment.
2.) Lesson planning: Setting clear objectives and managing time efficiently.
3.)Fault identification and correction techniques: Spotting errors during the lesson and giving constructive, safe feedback to correct them.
To prepare, we provide in-depth training sessions, role-play exercises, and real lesson simulations with feedback from experienced ADIs. This ensures you’re not only ready to pass Part 3, but also feel confident and capable as a new instructor from day one.
